Project Details:
Inacoustic has assisted with the redevelopment project of the former Three Brewers pub and car sales garage at Colchester Avenue in Cardiff. Our team was engaged to ensure compliance with Approved Document E, as well as discharge planning conditions related to the ground floor retail unit plant. The project involved the creation of 50 modern, energy-efficient apartments spread across two connecting blocks of 4 and 5-storeys. Each block contains a variety of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, a ground floor retail store, car parking, bike stores, and outdoor communal amenity space for residents. The acoustic consultancy services provided by Inacoustic were critical to the success of the project by enabling compliance with regulatory requirements, providing value engineering advice where possible, and providing solutions to mitigate noise pollution.
