Our team of expert noise consultants conducted a thorough noise assessment to evaluate potential impacts on nearby receptors, particularly residential properties, during the planning process of the 50MW/100MW Battery Storage facility in Hampshire.
Our involvement was crucial to the project's success, as we were brought in after the initial noise consultant had failed to produce a viable scheme of mitigation. Leveraging our extensive knowledge and comprehensive data from previous battery storage projects, we developed an effective mitigation scheme that was ultimately approved by the local council.
The noise assessment involved several stages, including: Baseline noise monitoring, noise modelling, noise mapping and mitigation measures.
